Bringing our expertise to California communities, MFE was established in 1984 in Lotus, CA, initially focusing on top-tier tree care. Starting small, Mountain Firewood (our original name) soon expanded into a full-scale vegetation management entity, serving federal, state, and local agencies, municipalities, utility companies, timber companies, small landowners, and fire-safe councils.
By 2000, we transitioned to providing tree trimming and hazard tree removal services to utility and commercial tree management industries, suspending residential services. In 2023, MFE reintroduced its residential service division.
